Unfortunatly, we had some serious technical difficulties with streaming the wedding, between completely losing our internet signal just before we started, to the heavy winds during the ceremony itself much of the video we have is unintelligable. With that said, we are preserving what we do have here for you to watch if you wish.
Below, I have included a full transcript of what was said during the ceremnoy, and while there was some improvisation with it, it is very close to word for word.

Welcome (Sarah)
Welcome dearest family and friends, to the wedding ceremony of Guen and Roderich. Before we begin, the spouses-to-be would like everyone to please silence and put away your phones until after the ceremony. There is a photographer to capture the ceremony, and Guen and Roderich would like everyone else to be present and free of the burdens of technology for this brief time. After the ceremony has concluded, you are welcome and indeed encouraged to take photos.

Ceremony
Sarah: As you are all, I assume, aware, we are gathered here to celebrate the great affection and love of two people whose collective capacity for creativity, humor, and hard work is such that I am left with nothing much to say about how they will need those things in their future life as a married couple – for they already have those things in abundance. Rather, we are here to recognize with love and joy the wonderful relationship that flourishes between Guen and Roderich, and to mark through ritual and celebration the continuation of that relationship through marriage.
Sarah: Captains of the Honor Guards, please present the handfasting cords.
Vita and Mercury each presents their cord to the audience
Vita:
With this cord, Guen pledges themself to this union. With it they offer their love, their steadfastness, their humor, and their passion.
Vita then hands their cord to Sarah
Mercury:
With this cord, Roderich pledges himself to this union. With it he offers his love, his fortitude, his patience, and his kindness.
Mercury then hand their cord to Sarah
Handfasting
Guen and Roderich are handfasted by Sarah with the cords present wound together reciting the below while doing so:
Sarah:
“There are things you cannot know before you experience them.”
“No study can prepare you for the joys or the trials.”
“Nobody else's love, nobody else's marriage, is like yours,”
“and it's a road you can only learn by walking it,”
“a dance you cannot be taught,”
“a song that did not exist before you began, together, to sing.”
As the knot is completed: “Take your promises to each other, and be bound together.”
Oaths
Sarah: “Guenevere, Roderich, pledge your oaths to one another.”
Guen’s Vows
“Roderich, I never meant to fall in love with you. I tripped and fell into your arms, and in your arms I found what I sought not indeed, but finding it I would posses forever. You give me trust, and safety, and joy, in measures I never even knew were possible until I met you. You were the first partner of mine to see both my genders, and you unmistakably love me as masculine and feminine. You make me the best version of myself simply by being in my life and inspiring me to be equal to your love for me. My love for you only grows with each day. But that kind of love needs a strong foundation, and that, and myself, are what I promise to you today. “
“I promise to always fight for our partnership. I promise to put in the work, sometimes the hard work, to keep our love healthy and strong. I promise to be honest, but never cruel. I promise to speak up when something is wrong, and tell you when something is right, and never let communication falter between us. I promise to hold you when you need to be held, and to kiss you when you need to be kissed, and to laugh at you when the occasion calls for it. I can't promise you fair sky above or kind road below, but I will walk beside you my love any way the wind blows. Today everything changes, and nothing changes. Say you love me, and know with all your heart that I do. That is all I ask of you. No matter where I go, no matter what I do with my life, it will be a life worth living if you are part of it. “
Roderich’s Vows
“Guenivere, with no one else in my life have I felt so comfortable, or so at home. With no one else in my life do I simply stop thinking about how they see me, and I can simply be myself the way that I can with you. In that freedom of being, I have found more joy in the last few years with you than I had had in nearly all the years prior. This love we share has been, and always will be a guiding light for me for all the years ahead of us.”
“We have already been there for each other, in sickness and in health: we have already been there for each other for easy times and hard times (If covid doesn’t count I don’t know what does) and I promise to be there for you everyday in the future. But more than those usual vows, Guen, I promise that I will always communicate my thoughts and hopes and fears, and be open to hear and understand yours in return. I promise that I will always give you the room to let you be whatever version of yourself you need to be, just as you have done for me. And I promise to always be the person that you can trust with every part of you, and with every sorrow or joy, every defeat or triumph.”
First Kiss/Celebration of Newlyweds
Sarah: “Guen and Roderich, I invite you to share your first kiss as a wedded couple.”
Guen and Roderich kiss, then pull their hands apart to complete the infinity knot, which they then hold up to present to their assembled loved ones
Sarah: “Dearest friends and family, please join together in celebrating for the first time, the newly wedded Guenevere and Roderich!”
