A Casual Beginning

Our Romance begins at the Christmas Party of a mutual friend, where we met, chatted, connected on facebook, and probably would have walked away without much contact afterward, had not fate intervened. And by fate, we mean that Guen’s laptop broke at the exact time that Roderich bought a handy ifixit computer repair kit and was itching to use it! He happened to see Guen’s post for laptop repair recommendations, and they agreed to meet so he could assist. Laptop repair turned into banter, banter turned into drinks, and drinks turned into spending the night.  We were determined to keep it casual though, since neither of us was looking for a relationship and our lives were too busy for romance, so we agreed to wait a while before seeing each other again, if ever. And we did wait a while!  A whole 12 hours.  We spend the next evening together, and the next , and the next…. It didn't take long for us to realize we were not, in fact, casual. It's been clear to us for most of our relationship that we want to spend the rest of our lives together.  We waited until the time felt right, but we are ready to write the next chapter in our romance, and we are so excited to be sharing it with you.
